As some of you may know, Ligonier is the home of many beautiful
murals. For the first time a book was created including a picture
and discription of each mural to help you along the way as you check
out the murals. Now an online version of the Ligonier City of
Murals book has been created. You can check it out at
http://www.scribd.com/full/72270317?access_key=key-1bfexxlc76t7qroi1i4z.
See just a glimpse of what these murals are like and then come visit us
to see them in person!

The Tombstone Trail has reopened for the fall season. The
Tombstone Trail is the nation's historic cemetery trail. This
year’s trail particularly pays tribute to stories of the American Civil
War and World War II. If you are unfamiliar with what the
Tombstone Trail is I will try my best to give you a description.
There are many historic cemeteries through out Noble County and Dekalb
County. A tour has been created in which you visit various
cemeteres through out the two counties. At each cemetery there
are paticurlar grave sites which you find in the
cemetery and learn an interesting story pertaining to the
gravesite. There are several ways in which you can do this,
there are guided tours, and self guided tours. The guided tours
will begin in September and are avalible on Friday and Saturday for
groups of 10 or more. To do the self guided tour you can aquire a
map and written history of the gravesites. You can get this self
guided tour online, by mail, or through your phone. You can call
1-877-202-5761 or check out the NCCVB website at www.visitnoblecounty.com If
you enjoy just going through old cemeteries (which i think many of us
do), then you should come check this out. You can not make it to
all the cemeteries in a day so why not make a stay out of it! :)

I just want to remind everyone of the neat oportunity I offer with an
Amish Dinner. We have a local family that we work with, that
allow you to come to their Amish farm and take a buggy ride and have a
full cooked dinner. It is a very neat experience! The famiy
allows you into their home and are very welcome to any questions you
might have of their ways and beliefs, and of course you get
a great, Amish, home cooked meal. My hasband and I
went to a dinner they served and it was a great oportunity that we
truely enjoyed! If you are intersted in doing this just give us a
call, or leave a note on your reservation and we can get it all set
up!
